Your First Appointment

Apollonia Dental Care is a friendly, family dental practice based in Greenford, treating patients from across the area including from Ealing and Brent. We have a small, friendly, dedicated team that offers general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. The practice has been established for 30 years and we welcome new patients of all ages for both private and NHS dental treatment. To book a new patient appointment, contact our friendly reception team on 020 8575 8030.

When you come into the practice for your first appointment, you will be greeted by a member of our reception team, who will be happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. You will be asked to complete a medical history form before being introduced to your dentist.

You will also have the chance to ask your dentist any questions you may have. At Apollonia Dental Care we are highly experienced in treating nervous patients, so if fear of the dentist has put you off seeking dental treatment please make us aware and we will do everything possible to reassure you and make you feel comfortable.

Your dentist will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and surrounding structures, taking any x-rays and photographs as necessary to help with diagnosis. We will look for any signs of decay, gum disease and other dental health problems. We will also check for oral cancer, which like all forms of cancer is much easier to treat the earlier it is diagnosed. Oral cancer still has a comparatively high mortality rate, mostly because of late diagnosis. Your dentist is best placed to spot the early signs; should we find anything suspicious, you will be referred to a hospital consultant for further investigation.

After your dental check-up, your dentist will discuss any findings with you, including any restorative or preventative treatment required. If you are interested in cosmetic dental treatment, we will also discuss those options with you. We provide all of our patients with a detailed treatment plan of any work required, on the same day as your appointment whenever possible.
